DESCRIPTION
Badminton is a racquet sport named after an English castle.
It pits either two players, in singles, or two pairs, in doubles and mixed, on either side of a net.
The players hit a shuttlecock with a racket.
ORGANISATION
Playing categories: Men’s Singles – Women’s Singles – Men’s Doubles – Women’s Doubles – Mixed Doubles
Rules of play:
- Participants can only compete in 2 categories at a maximum.
- Matches in 1 set until the ¼ final then in 2 sets for ½ and final.
Timing of the competitions:
- Thursday: Pool matches (singles and doubles)
- Friday: End of Pool Singles and Doubles matches, then Final Tables (up to ¼ final)
- Saturday: All Categories (1/2 final and final)
Opening times:
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. non-stop on Thursday and Friday (lunch to be taken in accordance with the match schedule).
9am-12pm Saturday.

MATERIEL
Feather shuttlecocks are provided by the organisers.
Each player brings his own sports kit, indoor shoes and racket.
Prizes for the top 3 in each category.
