DESCRIPTION
This competition is open to all FFE licensees who have all the equipment required for competitions.
ORGANISATION
The competition will take place in the fencing room of the clubs « Strasbourg Escrime » and « Strasbourg Université Club ». This room has 22 equipped pistes.
There will be two rounds for each weapon:
- Thursday: Foil in the morning; Epee in the afternoon.
- Friday: Sabre in the morning, Foil in the afternoon.
- Saturday: Epee in the morning, Sabre in the afternoon.
Each round will be organised as a full individual tournament: pool stages and then direct elimination table according to the ranking at the end of the pools.
Each round will be played according to the rules of the « Seniors » category. There will be no « Veterans » competition. Therefore:
- Pool matches in 5 touches, 3 minutes.
- Table matches in 15 touches, 3*3 minutes with 1 min break.
Ranking:
The final ranking will be established at the end of the two rounds by taking the sum of the ratios place / number of shooters for each round. The lowest number wins.
In the event of a tie, the shooter with the lowest ratio for a given round wins.
In the event of a tie, the ranking is established on the basis of the ranking at the end of the pools, taking into account all the matches played: highest number of wins, best ratio of hits given, highest number of hits given, draw.
Please note: there will be no equipment supplier on site. It is strongly advised to come with enough equipment to cover breakages and breakdowns for 2 competitions
