DESCRIPTION
Seven-a-side football, as its name suggests, is played with teams of 7 players (1 goalkeeper and 6 outfield players) on a half football field.
It is more flexible and friendly than 11-a-side football.
ORGANISATION
Teams of 10 to 12 people (unlimited changes)
Injuries can happen quickly in football, which is a contact sport, so we need a minimum number of substitutes!
Mixed / women’s / men’s team
Match lasting 20 to 40 minutes (depending on the number of teams)
Pool phase on Thursday and Friday
Final phase on Saturday
Playing time and tournament format will depend on the number of teams entered.
FIFA rules will be applied with the exception of the following:
- Unlimited substitutions
- No offside
- Tackling prohibited
MATERIAL
Players must wear shoes suitable for synthetic pitches (no cleats allowed). Shin guards are mandatory.
