Handball

Handball is a team sport played with a ball and by hand, as the name suggests 😃.

The tournament is open to everyone, but it’s a contact sport, often compared to a combat sport, so a bit of practice beforehand is highly recommended (we’re a long way from a friendly hug 😆).

DESCRIPTION

Teams can be mixed, and to balance things out a little, women players’ goals count double (although penalty kicks are not counted as bonus points).

Refereeing will be carried out by referees from the Grand Est federation or by players from other teams (to be decided).

Teams will be made up of 7 players: the goalkeeper and 6 outfield players.

We accept up to 5 substitutes, i.e. a maximum of 12 players per team. Changes are unlimited.

PREVISIONAL SCHEDULE

There will be two formats for the tournament, with a maximum of 8 to 10 teams.

The pool matches will be played in two 20 or 25 minute halves (to be determined according to the number of teams).

The classification matches will be played in the official format, i.e. two 30-minute halves.

The goalkeeper must wear trousers, a jumper and a jockstrap if he is a man.

Each team is advised to bring a few balls for warming up (and thus avoiding injuries), a cold spray for shocks and glue in spray or pot form (a priori authorised in the hall).

Solo players will be able to join the other delegations.
